Who is this for, and who is it not for?
This page is for licensed agents who work on their own: independent agents, captive agents allowed to buy their own leads, and newer agents ready to take live calls. You do not need a team, a call center or a set number of agents to buy.
It is not for anyone who is not yet licensed in the states they want calls from. It is also not for agents who cannot answer the phone during the hours they pick, or who want a promise of sales or income. We make no such promise.
Can a solo agent buy final expense live calls?
Yes. There is no agency size rule. A solo agent buys the same exclusive inbound calls as an agency, on the same terms. Each caller is a senior who chose to call about final expense coverage, and each call is routed to one agent only. Calls are never shared with or resold to other agents.
You pick the states where you are licensed and the hours you take calls, and calls ring only inside those limits. A call is billable only when it lasts longer than 90 seconds; calls of 90 seconds or less are not billed. Every call comes with its recording, and any call that does not meet the criteria you set is replaced with another call.
How many calls should a solo agent start with?
Start with the 10 call first order. Ten billable calls give you enough conversations to learn how the calls feel, how your opening works and how your hours fit your week, without a large first spend.
When those calls are used, you decide whether to reorder. There is no automatic plan and no contract to cancel. Reorder when you are ready, and change your states or hours first if your results point that way. For more on sizing an order, see how many final expense leads to buy to start.
How does a solo agent handle live calls?
Set hours you can answer, and keep your phone free during them. A live call rings while the senior is on the line, so the most important habit is picking up quickly. Choose a block of time each day when you are not driving, meeting clients or on another call.
Have your quoting tool, carrier guides and a notepad open before your hours begin. Find a quiet place, and check that your phone settings will not send calls to voicemail. For a full setup, see how to take live final expense calls on your cell.
When you work alone, recordings are a simple way to improve. Listen back to a few calls each week and pick one thing to do better on the next one.
What does a solo agent need before buying?
You need a license in each state you pick. Calls are routed only to states you choose, so choose only states where you are licensed and appointed to sell. For general information, see do you need a license to buy final expense leads.
You also need a phone number for the calls, the hours you will cover, and the tools to quote and take an application by phone. A short list of what to have ready is on the final expense call checklist.
How is this different for new agents or agencies?
The offer is the same for everyone. Newer agents often want extra help preparing for the first calls; see final expense leads for new agents. Agencies route calls to several agents and cover more hours across time zones; see final expense leads for agencies.
